Actress Yoon Se Ah has decided to make a donation to improve the living environments of descendants of independence activists.

On the 10th, Yoon Se Ah shared a donation certificate issued by Habitat for Humanity Korea via her personal SNS. According to the certificate, Yoon Se Ah donated 8.15 million won to the '815 Run: Housing Improvement Project for Descendants of Independence Activists.' The donation date is specified as July 9, 2026.

"I cannot forget the emotion and the heart-pounding resonance of the day I participated in the 815 Run," Yoon Se Ah shared. "With a heavy heart that I cannot run alongside you, I will fill my time with actions that can be of help from where I stand." This donation was made ahead of the '815 Run' scheduled for next month, and through her post, Yoon Se Ah sent a message of support to those participating in this year's event. In the past, Yoon Se Ah has practiced sharing by running alongside singer Sean.

From debut in the film 'Blood Rain' to 'SKY Castle'

Born in 1978, Yoon Se Ah debuted in the 2005 film 'Blood Rain' as Kang So-yeon. That same year, she made a name for herself by playing Kang Hye-ju in the SBS drama 'Lovers in Prague,' winning the New Star Award at the SBS Drama Awards.

She later increased her recognition by playing professional golfer Hong Se-ra in the drama 'A Gentleman's Dignity' and showcased her range by portraying Noh Seung-hye in the drama 'SKY Castle.'

Variety show activities and social contribution awards

Beyond acting, she has been active in various variety programs. She worked alongside Julien Kang on 'We Got Married' and showcased her down-to-earth daily life through 'Three Meals a Day: Mountain Village Edition.'

Based on these activities, she won the Best New Actress Award in the Show/Variety category at the 2012 MBC Entertainment Awards. That same year, she was recognized for her contributions to social welfare, receiving the Seoul Mayor's Award at the Seoul Social Welfare Awards.
