Singer Sean's eldest daughter, Ro Ha-eum, placed second in the women's 10km division of a charity marathon. Ha-eum participated in the 2026 Mind Marathon 10km women's division held at Seoul Plaza on June 7, crossing the finish line in 40 minutes and 37 seconds.

First place in the same division went to Lee Chae-ui with a time of 40 minutes 2 seconds, and third place went to Kim Hyo-jung with 41 minutes 52 seconds. Beyond the news of a celebrity family's participation, what drew attention was that Ha-eum achieved actual results in a charity race run alongside her father.

After crossing the finish line, Ha-eum said, “When I only focus on studying, I sometimes feel depressed, and running helps me feel stable at those times,” adding, “I am happy to have donated and achieved a good result in a race with such a good purpose.”

The Mind Marathon was organized as a charity marathon to support the mental health of children and adolescents. The structure involves all participation fees being donated to an NGO supporting mental health, and this year's event was held in three courses: Half, 10km, and 5km. The event had a total capacity of 10,000 participants.

Following the event, the 580 million won fund raised from participation fees was delivered to 21 organizations selected through a public call.

Sean's Family Completes 10km and 5km Courses Together

Sean also completed the 10km course with Ha-eum on this day. The third child, Ro Ha-yul, and the fourth child, Ro Ha-el, also participated in the race as a family by running the 5km course.

For Sean's family, running is not just a brief stay at an event venue, but rather a habit of spending time together. Ha-eum did not stop at merely participating in a good cause but also recorded a time in the 40-minute range.

Last Year's 5km 3rd Place and 815 Run Pacemaker

This is not Ha-eum's first placement. Last November, she recorded 3rd place in the women's 5km division of the Small and Medium Enterprise Revitalization Marathon with a time of 19 minutes 42 seconds.

At that time, Sean wrote that if Ha-eum enters a race, she will now stand on the podium, and above all, her appearance of enjoying running is wonderful. Even after increasing the distance from 5km to 10km, she placed in the upper ranks, leaving a record that she is continuing running in her own way.

Sean has consistently engaged in activities that combine running and charity, such as the Liberation Day charity marathon 815 Run. In a broadcast last year, Ha-eum's appearance as a pacemaker running alongside Sean, who was challenging 81.5km, was also revealed.

If that time was a day when father and daughter ran the same path, this Mind Marathon was a race where Ha-eum set her own record as an individual runner. In this competition, Ha-eum continued to keep running as part of her daily life by contributing to the charity cause while also delivering a strong performance.
