Actor Lee Dong-jin and former national fencing representative Kim Ji-yeon have become parents to twins nine years after getting married. The couple gave birth to a son, Lee Jun-seo, and a daughter, Lee Seo-ah, on July 21, 2026.

On the 28th, Kim Ji-yeon shared the news of the birth along with photos of the children through their respective SNS accounts. The released photos capture the newborn twins and Lee Dong-jin smiling while holding both children in his arms. Their prenatal nicknames, 'Lucky' and 'Vicky,' have now been given their real names, Jun-seo and Seo-ah.

The couple spoke candidly about the hardships faced from pregnancy through childbirth. Kim Ji-yeon stated via SNS, "There were many large and small unexpected things from the pregnancy process to the birth."

Fortunately, they also shared news that both the children and the couple are recovering their health. Kim Ji-yeon added, "Fortunately, both Lucky and Vicky, as well as us as a couple, are overcoming things one by one and recovering. While there is still more time needed for care, I am simply grateful and thankful that the children are growing healthily day by day." The connection between the two began in 2014. After dating for about three years, they wed in October 2017 and drew anticipation earlier this January when they announced the news of the twin pregnancy.

Her husband, Lee Dong-jin, debuted in the 2009 SBS drama 'Swallow the Sun' and has appeared in numerous works such as 'I Hear Your Voice' and 'Pinocchio,' while also working as an e-sports caster. Having embraced two children in their arms after nine years, the two are now beginning a new daily life as a family of four.
