The 8 survivors of the tvN variety show 'Kill It' have reached the final gateway that will determine who advances to the final round. In the 11th episode airing on the 21st, Yo-yo and Ji-won from Black Label, Kim Na-ra, Bellauyoung, and Mina Sue Choi from White Label, and Kim Ji-hun, Dasha, and Lee Jae-in from Red Label will battle for a spot in the TOP7.

The theme of this mission is 'My Essence.' Contestants must strip away glamorous makeup and styling to stand before the camera in bare-faced athleisure looks that reveal the lines of their bodies. The condition is to produce an advertising campaign video that captures their personal style, philosophy, and message within 24 hours.

"Feeling naked": Psychological pressure triggering past traumas

For contestants who have always pursued perfect styling, this mission to reveal their true selves has arrived as intense psychological pressure. Kim Na-ra, the shortest contestant, expressed her bewilderment among competitors with superior physiques, stating, "I feel relatively smaller. It feels like I've been stripped naked." Having been ignored in the past due to her small stature and timid personality, she added, "I felt that unique clothes protected me."

Yo-yo also confessed her past wounds. She began by saying, "In the past, I hated my body so much."

Due to the perceptions of those around her regarding her short height and thick legs, Yo-yo revealed she could not wear clothes that exposed her lower body, further sharing the pain of that time by mentioning there was even an editor on set who mocked her.

Kim Ji-hun mentioned his experience being bullied as a child because he was Asian. He revealed, "I was bullied a lot as a child because I was Asian. I used to wonder if I could have gotten along better with friends if I had blonde hair and blue eyes."

24-hour campaign production under the guidance of mentors including Jang Yoon-ju and Yeonjun

This mission is the watershed moment to decide the protagonists who will grab the tickets to the finals. Jang Yoon-ju, Lee Jong-won, Tomorrow X Together's Yeonjun, Cha Jung-won, Shin Hyun-ji, Ahn Ah-reum, and Yanggang will participate as mentors to guide the contestants. The contestants must complete a video embodying their style and philosophy within 24 hours.

The TOP7 who will ultimately survive among the 8 survivors to advance to the final round, along with the final elimination, will be revealed on the 21st at 10:10 PM via tvN.
