Lim Kang-seong joins Midnight: THE CHOICE as the Visitor arrives

Lim Kang-seong, Dae-Hyun Kim, and Park Seul-gi Join New Cast

The musical 'Midnight: Actor-Musician' will meet audiences this August 11 at NOL Uniplex Theater 3 with its new season, 'THE CHOICE.' This season marks a new chapter in the journey continuing from April this year, containing a worldview that leads into the musical 'Midnight: Antlers,' scheduled to open in October.

To heighten the tension of the new season, Lim Kang-seong, Rang-yeon, Jung Ji-eun, Dae-Hyun Kim, Boramiyu, and Park Seul-gi have been named for the role of 'Visitor.' In particular, Lim Kang-seong, Dae-Hyun Kim, and Park Seul-gi join the production for the first time this season to increase the play's immersion.

The role of 'Man,' which portrays an obsession with a wife, will be played by Jo Hyeon-woo, Han Jae-won, and V. The role of 'Woman,' who waits for her husband, has been cast with Seo Chae-yi, Lee Sang-ah, and Park Hye-min.

23 Actors and Musicians Create the Actor-Musician Stage

Taking the 'Actor-Musician' format where actors personally play instruments while performing, this production will be filled by a cast and ensemble of 23 actors and musicians.

Players who will perform roles while playing percussion, violin, guitar, and double bass include Kim Sol, Yang Jeong-hyeon, Jeong Ye-jin, Kim So-jin, Park Yeong-hun, Kang Hyeon-dong, Kim Jun, and Shin Eun-gyu. Additionally, pianists Jo Jae-cheol, Lim Ji-eun, and Hyunwoo Jeon will join to harmonize with the actors.

Based on the play 'Citizens of Hell' by Azerbaijani writer Elchin, this work depicts a thriller and black comedy that unfolds when an unidentified guest, the 'Visitor,' bursts into the home of a peaceful couple just before midnight on December 31.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the 'Midnight' series will showcase the characters' choices and the various possibilities resulting from them through this 'THE CHOICE' season, signaling an expansion of the worldview that continues with 'Midnight: Antlers' this October.
