Li Zihao and Pan Zheyi Turn Jokgu Missed Kicks Into Laughter as MODYSSEY Battles for Items on Sse.Sse.Mo

MODYSSEY is moving from desert-island survival back into the look of school-uniformed “Jungnam F7.” In episode 4 of the reality series Sse.Sse.Mo: NO EXIT, released on Mnet Plus at 6 p.m. on July 7, the members compete for key items that could decide the outcome of the final race.

After wrapping up their tense time on the uninhabited island, the members return to everyday life and enjoy a brief moment of breathing room. That pause does not last long. The episode quickly shifts into an item scramble, turning the group’s relaxed return into another contest with real stakes inside the show.

In the preview, MODYSSEY shows a side far removed from its polished stage image. On a basketball court, the members shout, “We have to win this time,” openly displaying the competitive streak that drives the item battle.

The major twist emerges during the competition for those items. The members enter the games with confidence, saying, “Actually, we’ve been going easy until now.” Each time the event changes, they declare, “Change of event! This time will be different,” as if a new sport will reset the balance of the match.

After basketball, the competition moves into a Jokgu match, where Li Zihao and Pan Zheyi repeatedly swing and miss instead of connecting with the ball. The scene replaces the sharp synchronized choreography and charisma they show on stage with a clumsy, unexpected charm in front of a sports game, turning the set into a burst of laughter.

As the match grows more intense, the members’ reactions split in different directions. One member eventually cries out, “I don’t want to play this game,” drawing loud laughter from everyone around him.

Sse.Sse.Mo: NO EXIT is a reality project that follows MODYSSEY as the group challenges itself on the path toward the top of K-pop. Separate from the friendly and approachable image shown in the variety format, MODYSSEY has continued domestic and overseas activities since releasing its debut single album, 1.Got Hooked: An Addictive Symphony, in May.

The group recently completed its stage at K-MEGA CONCERT IN SYDNEY in Sydney, Australia. MODYSSEY has also confirmed an appearance at KCON LA 2026, which will be held this August in Los Angeles, the United States.

The reality series Sse.Sse.Mo: NO EXIT is released every Tuesday at 6 p.m. on Mnet Plus, the global K-pop content platform. It also airs every Wednesday at 6 p.m. on the Mnet channel.
