Park So Dam looks back at The Priests' four-language possession scene
Park So Dam shares behind-the-scenes stories from The Priests on The Seasons, plus how Bong Joon-ho's Okja meeting led to Parasite.
Actress Park So Dam appeared on KBS 2TV's 'The Seasons - Sung Si-kyung's Ear-Pleasing Boyfriend' and reminisced about the time she filmed the movie 'The Priests'.

Park So Dam recalled the immersion she showed while playing the role of Young-shin, who is possessed by a demon in the film. She shared the grueling process of having to deliver lines in Korean, Latin, Chinese, and English in a single breath. In particular, she revealed an experience where she was surprised herself during a press conference following the film's preview, discovering that all the various voices in different languages heard in the movie were actually her own.

Her special connection with director Bong Joon-ho was also mentioned. Park So Dam shared an anecdote from a meeting for the movie 'Okja', where director Bong Joon-ho thought she could play a teenage character upon seeing her, but she was unable to take the role of Mi-ja because her actual age was older than expected.
This connection later led to the movie 'Parasite'. Park So Dam solidified her position as an actress by playing the role of Kim Ki-jung in 'Parasite' without an audition.
Growing as an actress after a one-year hiatus
Park So Dam also spoke candidly about the slump she experienced amidst the overwhelming attention in the past. She said that during a time when she felt exhausted by the pressure to constantly show something new without being able to rest even when she wanted to, she realized through a one-year hiatus that she had been very worn out.
Since debuting with the short film 'No More No Less', Park So Dam has appeared in works such as 'Ingtugi', 'The Priests', and 'Parasite', and most recently in 'Phantom' and 'Special Delivery'.
