Mnet Plus, the global K-pop content platform produced by CJ ENM, has unveiled the original horror variety show 'Hide and Seek 2.' This season is an extreme survival game where participants must survive for 4,444 seconds while evading an unidentified seeker. Actor Lee Jung Hyun will take on the role of the storyteller, signaling the beginning and end of urban legends to set the atmosphere of the show.
Three Teasers Released Featuring an Urban Legend Universe
This season goes beyond simple hide-and-seek by incorporating an 'urban legend' universe into its setting. Rather than just avoiding the seeker, players will experience horror by directly becoming characters within these urban legends.
The three teaser videos released through the Mnet K-POP YouTube channel feature short horror stories using familiar themes such as mountain cabins, fishing spots, and hide-and-seek. In particular, 'Track 01. Mountain Distress Record REC_444' heightened tension with an atmosphere reminiscent of actual mountain distress recordings.
