Hyunsoo and Eunhwi face the pottery wheel: 'Harder than singing'
On JTBC's Craftsmen and Idols, Hyunsoo and Eunhwi wrestle with clay, wheel speed and fatigue before finishing their first bowls.
Idols Hyunsoo and Eunhwi encountered unexpected obstacles during the pottery-making process. On JTBC's 'Craftsmen and Idols', the two challenged themselves to create ceramics using a pottery wheel.

Hyunsoo and Eunhwi struggled to synchronize the speed of their feet spinning the wheel with the movements of their hands. The two expressed bewilderment at the lump of clay that would not obey their fingertips and the wheel speed that refused to follow their will.
Hyunsoo complained of physical fatigue during the process of spinning the wheel. Hyunsoo expressed a sense of hopelessness, stating, "At this rate, it might be impossible to complete even a single piece."
Eunhwi also had difficulty centering the clay and honestly shared his feelings, saying, "It is harder than singing."
Awe for the Master's Skilled Technique
Unlike the struggling idols, the master craftsman's work was different. As the clay smoothly took shape just by the master's touch, Hyunsoo and Eunhwi expressed awe.
Watching the master shape the clay in a short period of around 10 minutes, Hyunsoo remarked, "As expected, the best in the country is different."
In particular, the master's delicate technique of narrowing the clay or adjusting thick sections delivered a great shock to the two.
First Works Completed After Many Ups and Downs
Without giving up, the two immersed themselves in the work to make bowls. They repeated the delicate process of using their thumbs, adjusting the wheel speed, and balancing the thickness of the top and bottom.
The master offered encouragement, saying, "The disciples are not at a level of being very bad. It doesn't happen overnight, so you have to watch them over a long period."
After completing their first works through many ups and downs, Hyunsoo expressed deep emotion, saying, "It is so beautiful."
