tvN SHOW's flagship entertainment program 'Free 19' is concluding its 10-year journey. Having first aired in May 2016, the program will bring its grand finale today (the 27th) at 9:50 p.m. with episode 530.
Over the past 10 years and 2 months, 'Free 19' has selected diverse weekly topics including current affairs, economy, and culture, delivering more than 10,000 scoops to viewers. At the center of the program were former announcers Jun Hyun-moo, Oh Sang Jin, and Han Seok Jun. These 3 MCs have remained in their positions without leaving from the start of the program until now, leading it to become a long-running program representing tvN SHOW.
Final special 'Vacation Gift Festival 19' revealed
The final broadcast will be themed 'Special! Vacation Gift Festival 19.' It will cover shopping lists representing various countries, ranging from steady-seller items at travel destinations to the latest local trends.
In particular, rare-flavored potato chips, which actor Park Bo-gum is known to have purchased in bulk at a local mart during his visit to Shanghai, China, will appear. Additionally, various items such as cakes made by Korean manufacturers using traditional Vietnamese ingredients that can only be tasted locally are expected to be revealed.
The production team has prepared special gifts for the three MCs who have led the program for a long time. It contains a final greeting to those who have served as the pillars of the program unchangingly for 10 years.
Travel souvenir event for viewers
An event has also been prepared for viewers who will feel the regret of the program's conclusion. In this final episode, an event will be held for viewers who are unable to go on trips, which can be participated in through the program's official account. Selected viewers will be presented with travel souvenir gift boxes personally chosen by the cast.
Tonight at 9:50 p.m., the 10-year record will conclude along with the final 19th ranking. tvN has also scheduled the final episode broadcast for the 28th at 7:30 p.m.
