Dino's PICHEOLIN dances into debut with Lee Moon-sae's voice

Seventeen's Dino is stepping before the public under a new persona called 'PICHEOLIN.' On the 13th, Pledis Entertainment revealed the full promotion schedule for PICHEOLIN's debut mini 1st album, '吉BOARD,' via official SNS.

Pre-release track featuring Lee Moon-sae's narration to be released on the 15th

This promotional cycle kicks off on the 15th at 6 PM with the pre-release track 'There is No Such Thing as a Painless Farewell (narr. Lee Moon-sae).' Music legend Lee Moon-sae participated with narration, adding depth to the song.

The music video teaser released on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel features Lee Moon-sae's voice, reminiscent of a late-night radio broadcast. Set against a city pop sound, the video captures Dino running through the streets and dancing under streetlights. The agency described PICHEOLIN as a "persona that embodies the ambition to naturally and intimately permeate into the daily lives of the public."

Mini 1st album '吉BOARD' reinterprets 90s vibes

The mini 1st album '吉BOARD' is a result of reinterpreting the 'Gilboard'—a symbol of street music culture in 1990s Korea—through PICHEOLIN's perspective. Through this album, PICHEOLIN is set to showcase his side as a producer who remixes the stories of people around him into music.

The schedule leading up to the album release is tightly packed. Following the first pre-release track on the 15th, the tracklist will be revealed on the 20th. This will be followed by the music video teaser and the full video for the second pre-release track, 'Michyeo Michyeo,' on the 21st and 22nd, respectively. Teasers for the title track will be released twice on August 1 and 2. The full music release of the mini 1st album and the title track music video will officially launch on August 3.

'DINO X PICHEOLIN' Fan Concert to be held on August 21

The peak of the album promotions will take place on stage. Following the album release, PICHEOLIN will hold the 'DINO X PICHEOLIN FAN CONCERT' for three days from August 21 to 23. This performance will be a joint concert featuring both Seventeen member Dino and his persona PICHEOLIN on stage.
