SEVENTEEN's youngest member, Dino, has stepped before the public as a new character, 'Pi Cheol-in'. In the 2174th episode of KBS 1TV's 'National Singing Contest' (Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do edition), scheduled to air on the 12th at 12:10 PM, Dino will hold his first official debut stage as the alter ego 'Pi Cheol-in'.

Dino Transforms into 'Pi Cheol-in' to Grace the Closing Stage

The recording took place at a special stage in the Jjoksaem District, a UNESCO World Heritage city. The 'Pi Cheol-in' persona presented by Dino is a character he personally planned to communicate even more closely with the public through music. It is characterized by a sly and playful energy, a different vibe from the sophisticated performances he has shown as a member of SEVENTEEN.

Through this stage, Dino stepped away from the image of an idol touring global stages to appear in a more familiar light on the nation's participatory program, 'National Singing Contest'. For the closing stage that marks the grand finale of the broadcast, Pi Cheol-in selected 'Crazy, Crazy' (Michyeo Michyeo). The live audience reacted enthusiastically to Dino's transformation, and Pi Cheol-in connected with the crowd by releasing his signature excitement.

Star-Studded Lineup Including Oh Yu-jin and Kang Moon-kyung Heats Up Gyeongju

The Gyeongju episode also featured a solid guest lineup. 'Trot Fairy' Oh Yu-jin opened the show by singing 'Some', followed by Yoon Tae-hwa leading the stage with 'Last Stop'. Miss Kim boosted the atmosphere with 'Side' (Yeopguri), and Kang Moon-kyung raised the heat of the venue with a passionate rendition of 'The One Who Stays Awake'.

Stages from the 16 teams that made it to the finals followed. From traditional folk singers to Gayageum Byeongchang performances and creative performances combining Korean dance with aerobics, a diverse array of stages capturing the colors of Gyeongju unfolded.
