Kihyun Counts Down to July 7 Comeback With Tears and Action in 'So Good' Teaser
MONSTA X's Kihyun previews his solo comeback with the music video teaser for 'So Good,' the title track from his second mini album 'BORDERLINE.' The album will be released on July 7 at 6 p.m.
MONSTA X member Kihyun has signaled his solo comeback with the music video teaser for "So Good," the title track of his second mini album, "BORDERLINE." His agency, Starship Entertainment, released the teaser video on MONSTA X's official YouTube channel on July 5, opening the final countdown to the new solo release.

The teaser first draws attention with an image of Kihyun in tears. After walking across a vast stretch of land, he comes face to face with a massive mound of clothing, and the mood then shifts into tense action as he appears to confront someone in a charged sequence.
A fast-moving camera captures a landscape reduced to ruins, giving the teaser a stark visual atmosphere. Kihyun's gaze across the desolate scenery adds to the curiosity surrounding the story that will unfold in the full music video.
The preview also places Kihyun's vocals at the center of the comeback. Against the wide-open terrain, his high notes, delicate bright tone, explosive energy, and emotional vocal color reveal the texture of "So Good" before the full track is released.
"BORDERLINE," Kihyun's second mini album, is described as an album that follows his musical journey as he searches for his own direction rather than moving along a predetermined path. The release will include seven tracks in total, with each song set to carry a different mood and emotional tone.
The title track "So Good" sings about the moment of deciding not to be buried under the answers demanded by the world, and instead choosing to trust one's own senses and choices. Rising guitar sounds combine with Kihyun's vocal performance to deliver a message about moving forward toward freedom.
Kihyun's second mini album, "BORDERLINE," will be officially released through major online music platforms at 6 p.m. on July 7.
