Singer John Park is making a comeback with a new song that captures the refreshing essence of summer. His agency, Music Farm Entertainment, announced that John Park will release his new single, 'Summer is Back,' on the 23rd at 6 PM.
For this new track, John Park personally led the entire process of songwriting, composing, and arranging. Teaser images released through official SNS on the 20th featured a collage of summer-inspired elements—such as green trees, a blue swimming pool, watermelon, and sandy beaches—foreshadowing the mood of the new song.
Retro Nostalgia Delivered Through Funky Soul Pop
The new song 'Summer is Back' is characterized by its upbeat energy. Appearing recently on Sung Si-kyung's YouTube channel 'Man-nal-ten-de,' John Park introduced the track as "funky soul pop that is breezy yet rhythmic," explaining that it is a "summer song that evokes retro nostalgia."
This new release comes approximately 21 months after his second full-length album, 'PSST!'. It also marks his first official new song in about seven months following his solo concert 'Like a Dream,' which sold out completely last December.
The new single 'Summer is Back' will be released on various online music release platforms on the 23rd at 6 PM.
