Singer-songwriter Hanroro has teamed up with Sanrio's popular character, Pompompurin. At 6 PM on the 9th, Hanroro will release the special collaboration single 'You and I' with Pompompurin through various online music sites and official SNS.
This project stems from a connection made during the 18th Seoul Jazz Festival held on May 24. At the time, Pompompurin, an official collaborator of the festival, made a surprise appearance during Hanroro's performance of an unreleased song, and the enthusiastic response from the live audience served as the catalyst for turning this collaboration into a reality.
The Comfort of 'Grapefruit Apricot Club' After an 8-Month Wait
The new song 'You and I' is a track fans have been waiting for for a long time. Since its first reveal during Hanroro's solo concert 'Grapefruit Apricot Club' last November, it has taken approximately eight months to reach an official music release, following its performance at the Seoul Jazz Festival this May.
This track serves as an extension of 'Grapefruit Apricot Club,' the unique universe Hanroro has built. It lyrically captures the process of 'I,' who endures an uncertain today alone, meeting 'You' and finding hope for tomorrow. The lyrics, "Isn't it enough just for us, living together in this moment, even if eternity is something we cannot know if it exists or not," convey the comfort provided by a presence by one's side.
Anticipation is also building for the music video teaser released on the 8th. The video, posted on Authentic's official SNS, was met with a flood of comments from fans welcoming the harmony between the artist and the character.
The Steady Musical Journey of 'Gen Z Rockstar' Hanroro
