Candy Shop revisits Hongcheon's Ocean World three years after trainee days, performing a special set with Aespa covers and fan-focused energy.

How does it feel to stand again in a place filled with memories of trainee days, but this time under the name of an artist? The group Candy Shop visited Ocean World in Hongcheon, a place holding memories from three years ago, to present a special stage.
Gathering to prepare for the performance, the members of Candy Shop shared their excitement through self-cam footage. In particular, one member recalled visiting this place three years ago as a 19-year-old trainee. While it was a visit back then where the company granted them a single day off, the members expressed their feelings, saying they "couldn't believe it" now that they have returned to this place as artists preparing for a stage.
The practice process was serious. To prepare for the Ocean World stage, the members devoted themselves to practicing a five-song setlist, including aespa's 'Supernova' and 'Armageddon'. Even in the sweltering weather, the members encouraged one another while preparing for the performance.
Positive energy that turned even news of rain into romance
On the day of the performance, despite the forecast of rain, the members showed their characteristic positive attitude while feeling worried. One member expressed that "the rain is also romantic," conveying a heart that cherishes the moment of being with fans regardless of the weather.
The members also showed their affection for fans, worrying about their health in case of rain by saying, "Take cold medicine and then let's sleep." Despite the combination of sweltering heat, humid weather, and news of rain, the members welcomed the fans, saying, "No matter what the weather is, let's just enjoy it."
“It feels amazing” the joy left at the end of the stage
After finishing the stage, the members expressed the joy of the scene by saying, "It feels amazing." As Jini's debut stage took place in Thailand, this Korean performance remained particularly meaningful to the members. Moving past the freshness of their trainee days to finish a stage as artists, Candy Shop's appearance was a process of writing new records beyond the memories of three years ago.
