Yuna's concept photos oscillate between sporty and pure
Yuna, a member of the group BB Girls, has announced her comeback with photos capturing the mood of her new single.
Released through BB Girls' official SNS channels on the 10th, Yuna's individual concept photos capture both a sporty and pure aesthetic. In one shot, Yuna showcases her healthy charm wearing a rash guard in a combination of blue and red. In another cut, she leans against a sunbed, pairing lace-style beachwear with a skirt.
Photos set against a bathroom backdrop also drew attention. In a composition featuring a sink and a shower booth, Yuna leans slightly against a mirror while staring into the camera. Wearing a crop top and sports-style bottoms, Yuna adds to the teaser image's atmosphere with her natural short hair and understated expression.
Yuna captioned the post, "BBGIRLS_ BODY WAVE. OUT JULY 16." With the release of Yuna's photos, the concept photo shoots for all BB Girls members—Min-yeong, Eun-ji, and Yuna—have been completed. The new single 'BODY WAVE' will be released on July 16.
A musical journey from Brave Girls to BB Girls
Yuna officially made her debut in 2016 as a second-generation member of Brave Girls with the digital single 'Byeonhaesseo'. Serving as the lead vocalist and lead rapper within the team, she has been active by handling vocals, rap, and dance.
During the Brave Girls era, the group was beloved for tracks such as 'High Heel', 'Rollin', and 'We Ride'. In particular, 'Rollin' achieved a massive resurgence, climbing to the top of music charts and recording first-place wins on music programs. In 2023, the group announced a new beginning by changing their name to BB Girls and releasing their first double single, 'ONE MORE TIME'.
Currently, BB Girls is active as a trio consisting of Min-yeong, Eun-ji, and Yuna. The fandom 'BB-i', which has remained since the Brave Girls days, continues to provide unwavering support and awaits the activities of Yuna and the members even after the name change.
