Hwang In-youp and Lee Hye-ri Meet as First Loves After 15 Years in 'Dream to You'
On July 13 at 10 PM, the Monday-Tuesday drama 'Dream to You' will premiere on ENA. This work draws attention as it is based on an original story by writer Jung Eun-bi, rather than being based on a webtoon or web novel.
In the drama, genius film director Woo Su-bin (played by Hwang In-youp) and survival-oriented reporter Ju Yi-jae (played by Lee Hye-ri) were first loves 15 years ago, but they face each other again after being separated by their respective circumstances. For Ju Yi-jae, Woo Su-bin remains a poignant memory as well as a 'hate relationship' that makes it difficult to open her heart again. The keywords of reuniting with a first love and a 'hate relationship' form the core of the drama.
Director Yu Seon-dong expressed confidence in Hwang In-youp during test filming, stating, "He was already Woo Su-bin himself," and highly praised Lee Hye-ri's charm, noting, "If Ju Yi-jae feels lovely, that is entirely due to Lee Hye-ri."
Park Eun-bin and Yang Se-jong's Occult Romance 'Spellbound' Carries the Emotion of the Film
On July 18, the Saturday-Sunday drama 'Spellbound' is set to premiere on tvN. Based on the 2011 film of the same name that surpassed 3 million cumulative viewers, this work depicts the occult collaborative investigation between Cheon Yeo-ri (played by Park Eun-bin), a hotel heiress with the ability to see ghosts, and Ma Kang-uk (played by Yang Se-jong), a passionate prosecutor.
Park Eun-bin has demonstrated stable acting skills through works such as 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' and will lead the drama in the role of Cheon Yeo-ri. Her co-star Yang Se-jong is also expected to showcase new chemistry as he takes on the role of Ma Kang-uk, building on the acting skills he developed through works like 'Doona!'.
