SEVENTEEN’s Korean album crosses Japan’s Million line again
SEVENTEEN’s SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN passes 1 million Japan shipments as BoyNextDoor’s HOME lands a fourth straight Gold certification.
SEVENTEEN has broken another record in the Japanese music market. According to the June Gold Disc certification list released by the Recording Industry Association of Japan, SEVENTEEN's 11th mini album 'SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN' has surpassed 1 million cumulative shipments, earning the highest 'Million' certification.

This is the first such achievement for a foreign artist this year. The milestone was reached as demand for the album has remained steady even 1 year and 8 months after its release. SEVENTEEN previously earned Million certifications for their first Japanese EP 'DREAM' and their 10th mini album 'FML', marking the team's third Million certification to date.
Notably, both 'FML' and 'SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN' are Korean-language albums. HYBE JAPAN stated that SEVENTEEN is the only K-pop artist to surpass 1 million local shipments with a Korean-language album since the 2000s. The Recording Industry Association of Japan's certification levels are categorized as Gold (100,000 copies), Platinum (250,000 copies), Double Platinum (500,000 copies), Triple Platinum (750,000 copies), and Million (1,000,000 copies).
BOYNEXTDOOR Secures Fourth Consecutive Gold Certification for Korean Albums
The growth of BOYNEXTDOOR, a label under HYBE, has also been confirmed in Japan. Their first full-length album 'HOME' has surpassed 100,000 cumulative shipments, earning a 'Gold' certification.
BOYNEXTDOOR has achieved four consecutive Gold certifications using only Korean-language albums, starting from their 3rd mini album through this first full-length album. They are currently appearing at the top of major Japanese charts, including Oricon and Billboard Japan.
