NOWADAYS rides a QQ Music No. 1 to the Hong Kong TIMA stage
NOWADAYS performs at 2026 TIMA at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium on August 22 after 'Fly Freely' topped QQ Music ahead of an August comeback.
Performing at Hong Kong TIMA on August 22
The group NOWZ will take the stage at the '2026 TME Live International Music Awards' (2026 TIMA) held in Hong Kong. Comprised of Hyun Bin, Yun, Yeonwoo, Jin-hyeok, and Si-yun, NOWZ will participate in the performances on the first day of the awards ceremony, which takes place at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong on August 22.
The event is hosted by Tencent Music Entertainment, China's largest music platform group, and will be held over two days on August 22 and 23.
QQ Music No. 1 and Greater China Chart Success
NOWZ achieved significant chart success within the Greater China region through the pre-release track 'Fly Freely (Feat. YUQI)' from their first mini-album 'IGNITION' released last year. The song claimed the No. 1 spot on the QQ Music daily new song chart, entered the Hong Kong iTunes Top Songs chart, and ranked high on the QQ Music Korean music video chart and the Douyin challenge chart.
August Festival Participation and New Album Preparations
NOWZ will manage a variety of schedules throughout August. On August 2, they are scheduled to perform at the '2026 Ocean World Blue Splash' summer festival.
The members are currently preparing a new album with the goal of a comeback in August. Having recently been selected as their first advertising models, NOWZ faces a busy schedule moving from the awards ceremony and festival stages into promotions for their new album.
