Former ENHYPEN member Heeseung joins the 2026 TIMA lineup in Hong Kong after 'Ride or Die' tops Tencent Music's Korean chart.
Performing at Hong Kong TIMA following #1 rankings on Chinese charts
Evan, formerly of ENHYPEN, has been confirmed as a performer for the second day of the '2026 TME Live International Music Awards (2026 TIMA),' held at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium on August 23. As announced by his agency BELIFT LAB, this awards ceremony is a global music festival established last year by Tencent Music Entertainment Group, China's largest music platform, and will take place in Hong Kong over two days from August 22 to 23.
This appearance is driven by the performance of his debut single 'RIDE OR DIE.' The title track 'Ride or Die' reached #1 on the Tencent Music weekly Korean chart and #3 on the QQ Music weekly Korean chart. This marks a rare case where an artist is included in the lineup of a major awards ceremony—which selects performers based on music consumption—immediately following their debut.
A star-studded lineup alongside Charlie Puth and aespa
The 2026 TIMA features a massive roster of K-pop artists alongside global pop star Charlie Puth. On the first day of the ceremony, August 22, the stage will be graced by NCT Taeyong, aespa, Babymonster, Riize, Super Junior, and Tomorrow X Together. Tomorrow X Together's Yeonjun will also perform a solo stage separate from the group's performance. Other artists included in the first day's lineup are 82Major, KiiiKiii, Nowz, ALLDAY PROJECT, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, and Hearts2Hearts.
On August 23, when Evan performs, the lineup includes KickFlip, Nexz, Unchild, And2ble, MEOVV, Nmixx, Plave, WayV, Ive, NCT WISH, Stray Kids, and Girls' Generation's Taeyeon.
North American schedule spanning from the Grammy Museum to KCON LA
Evan's August schedule extends beyond Hong Kong to North America. Starting with a performance at '2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer' on August 9, he will appear in the special program 'Spotlight' at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, USA, on the 14th. The program will be held at the Ray Charles Rooftop Terrace within the Grammy Museum.
Following this, his attendance at 'KCON LA 2026' is confirmed for the 16th, and he is also scheduled to perform at 'NOL FESTIVAL' on October 18. Meanwhile, Evan is set to communicate with listeners as a special DJ for MBC FM4U's 'Chinhan Chingu Bangsongban' on August 14 and 15.
