JUNKY CREAM Draws Co-production Offers at Annecy MIFA 2026, Sets August UK Collaboration Release
Hybrid animation studio JUNKY CREAM received co-production proposals from global studios at MIFA 2026 in Annecy. The company will unveil a one-take animation co-produced with the UK's Wonder Studios in August.
Hybrid animation studio JUNKY CREAM received co-production proposals from global studios at 'MIFA 2026', the world's largest animation market held in Annecy, France. At this event, JUNKY CREAM showcased its original IP anthology series, the feature-length K-pop animation 'PARADOX VEIL', and the Chroma Awards winner 'KTR' in succession.

Overseas Studio Proposals Follow at Annecy MIFA 2026
The response on-site was immediate. JUNKY CREAM's works, led by original visuals, caught the attention of studio representatives from around the world, including Dubai, the UK, Scotland, Colombia, Japan, and India. They proposed co-productions for feature films and series, and JUNKY CREAM is currently conducting follow-up discussions.
In particular, the 7-part original anthology series targeting adults garnered significant attention. This project, consisting of 7 episodes each directed by different directors, is based on 3D, Unreal Engine, and motion capture. JUNKY CREAM also introduced a production method that keeps the use of AI technology below 7%.
'PARADOX VEIL' to Reveal Universe First via BRAZY Albums
JUNKY CREAM's competitiveness stems from its 'hybrid production pipeline' that achieves studio-level quality with a small workforce. This method integrates AI technology, Unreal Engine, motion capture, and K-pop content production experience into a single system.
The feature-length project 'PARADOX VEIL' began by sequentially releasing albums from the virtual group 'BRAZY' ahead of the film. Each album serves as a chapter of the movie, building the universe first, which then connects into a single feature-length story.
JUNKY CREAM has previously been named one of the top 10 Korean startups selected by the Silicon Valley global accelerator Plug and Play. It also has a history of winning at the US AI awards, Chroma Awards, and participating in CES 2026 Eureka Park.
One-take Animation Co-produced with Wonder Studios to be Released in August
In August, JUNKY CREAM will present a one-take animation co-produced with the UK's Wonder Studios to the world. Created using a hybrid process utilizing 3D and Unreal Engine, this work implements a format where a single scene continues uninterrupted from beginning to end.
A JUNKY CREAM official stated, "We are strengthening our competitiveness in the global market based on a differentiated production system that combines AI technology with animation production capabilities," and added, "We plan to continue expanding new formats of content and global collaborations to broaden the possibilities of K-animation."
