I-dle turns Hongdae into a Baby Minini playroom as Macau sells out

'Baby Minini' Playground Appears at Hongdae K-Pop Square

Digital IP entertainment company IPX opened the 'i-dle minini baby POP-UP' at K-Pop Square Hongdae in Seoul on the 24th. Running until August 2, this pop-up adds a 'baby' concept to the existing 'I-dle Minini' characters, which consist of Yeonini, Minini, Sonini, Unini, and Shuniini.

Inspired by the nickname the fandom 'Neverland' uses to call the members like babies, the entire space is decorated like a playroom. The main photo zone on-site features play mats, slides, ball pits, and block objects, alongside an illustration exhibition space containing daily schedules and messages personally written by the members. Merchandise includes plush dolls wearing baby bibs, plush magnet keyrings, random plush badges, and string pouches. This collaboration marks the fourth project between IPX and (G)I-DLE, following the 'Super Lady POP-UP', 'Klaxon POP-UP', and 'We are POP-UP'. The Hongdae pop-up will expand to Shanghai and Hong Kong, including Busan, with plans to sequentially open in Taipei, Singapore, and Japan.

Sold-Out Macau Concerts and the Lollapalooza Main Stage

Their momentum in the performance market is equally intense. Cube Entertainment announced that the additional date for (G)I-DLE's fourth world tour 'Syncopation' in Macau sold out completely on the 23rd, the very day ticketing opened. An extra show was added due to the overwhelming support from global fans.

Starting in Seoul, this tour has moved through large-scale venues such as the Taipei Dome and Hong Kong Kai Tak Stadium. The grand journey will culminate on August 29 and 30 at the Macau Galaxy Arena. Prior to this, (G)I-DLE is scheduled to take the main stage at the major music festival 'Lollapalooza' held in Chicago, USA, on the 31st (local time) to deliver a live performance.
