AEN turns a sunlit greenhouse film into pre-debut global buzz
Starship and Amuse's seven-member boy group AEN draws US and Japanese media attention before its August 5 debut with A NEW ERA OF NOW.
AEN's momentum continues with coverage from major US and Japanese media
AEN, a seven-member boy group co-produced by Starship Entertainment and Japan's Amuse, is garnering significant attention in global markets such as North America and Japan even before their official debut.

Soompi, a US-based outlet specializing in Hallyu, has provided extensive coverage ranging from the group's formation to their recently released performance videos. Interest in Japan is equally intense. During the 'AEN Greeting Showcase "First Encounter"' held at the SGC Hall Ariake in Tokyo on the 27th of last month, major Japanese media outlets including Daily Sports, Sports Nippon, Sports Hochi, Sankei Sports, and Nikkan Sports provided focused reporting on the showcase.
'Focus On Me' performance film set in a glass greenhouse released
AEN recently released a performance film for 'Focus On Me,' a track from their first mini album [A NEW ERA OF NOW], via their official YouTube channel.
The video is set against the backdrop of a sunlit glass greenhouse and outdoor spaces. Instead of formal stage outfits, the members showcased a natural look styled in comfortable casual wear. The song 'Focus On Me' features an addictive melody and a repetitive hook, and was previously unveiled during the Tokyo showcase on the 21st of last month.
Official debut on August 5 with first mini album 'A NEW ERA OF NOW'
The group name 'AEN' is an abbreviation for 'A New Era of Now,' signifying a new era that redefines this very moment. Simultaneously, it carries the meaning of 'eternity' (永遠) in Japanese, symbolizing the group's sustainability.
The group consists of four Korean members and three Japanese members. The lineup includes Ji-yong, Bo-min, KYUHYUN, Harua, Junseo, and Kaira from 'Debut Plan,' alongside Japanese member Haruto. They will begin full-scale activities, traveling between Korea and Japan, following the release of their first mini album [A NEW ERA OF NOW] featuring the title track 'X to Z' on August 5.
