ACON 2026, Taiwan sells out all seats

On the 25th, the 'ACON 2026, The Road to AAA 2026: Official Pre-show' held at the NTSU Arena in Taiwan's National Sports University sold out all seats. The event, hosted by Star News and organized by the Asia Artist Awards (AAA) Organizing Committee, MOTIVE, and D-SHOW, served as a pre-festival ahead of the upcoming AAA 2026. Singer Sung Han Bin served as the MC, guiding the flow of the stage.

Local theme-inspired performances

The performance centered on the theme of 'Youth' with locally tailored acts. MC Sung Han Bin delivered a solo performance of Karencici's hit song 'HARD TO SAY'. QWER reinterpreted the popular Taiwanese band Mayday's hit '戀愛ing' in their own style. Choi Ye-na also prepared a song favored by Taiwanese fans.

Cover performances and Michael Jackson collaboration

K-pop classics were covered in a series of performances. MEOVV performed BTS's 'Dynamite', while CLOSE YOUR EYES covered EXO's 'Overdose'. KISS OF LIFE performed BIGBANG's 'BAE BAE', and NEXZ reinterpreted a song by their senior group GOT7.

CLOSE YOUR EYES and NEXZ performed a joint act based on Michael Jackson's music. Starting with a 3-on-3 member dance performance, they jointly presented the iconic song 'Thriller'. Separately, CLOSE YOUR EYES performed 'Dangerous', while NEXZ performed 'Beat It' as a solo act.
