Kim Chung-jae Draws Notice With Model-Like Proportions at Global Brand Yoga Event

Product designer and broadcaster Kim Chung-jae has shared a new update from a global sportswear brand event, giving fans a look at his recent public appearance. On July 2, Kim posted photos taken at the event on his social media account and wrote about taking part in a yoga session there.

In the photos, Kim Chung-jae wore a black T-shirt with wide-leg pants, a simple look that fit the relaxed atmosphere of the event. Standing on a yoga mat, he drew attention for his slim build, long arms and legs, and proportions close to the entertainment-industry phrase “nine heads tall,” creating a model-like impression.

Kim Chung-jae also described the event as more than a standard promotional appearance. In his post, he wrote that yoga had still felt unfamiliar to him, but that he was glad to discover it could be a cultural experience that awakens the senses when shared with friends and other people. At the event, he also took a commemorative photo with Jung Seung-min, the husband of model and actor Jang Yoon-ju, showing their friendly connection.

Kim Chung-jae first became widely known to the public through MBC’s I Live Alone, where he appeared as a close friend of webtoon artist Kian84. On the July 17 broadcast of I Live Alone, Kian84 was shown visiting Kim Chung-jae’s studio to relieve stress from work.

During that appearance, Kian84 commented on Kim Chung-jae’s looks, saying that his eyes seemed clear, and Park Na-rae agreed with the remark. The cast members were impressed that Kim appeared unchanged compared with his appearance on the show eight years earlier, saying his face looked exactly the same. Kian84 added humor by calling Kim Chung-jae the standard example of a handsome art-school senior.

Interest in Kim Chung-jae’s latest update also comes alongside continued attention on his public relationship with actor Jung Eun-chae. The two, both born in 1986, have reportedly been dating since 2023, and in March 2024 their agencies officially acknowledged the relationship.

Kim Chung-jae has shown support for Jung Eun-chae by watching her tvN drama Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born and sharing proof that he tuned in to the original broadcast. Jung Eun-chae has also left supportive messages about Kim Chung-jae’s projects. More recently, Jung drew attention from fans after posting photos on her social media account in which she wore a white outfit and presented an elegant mood.

Jung Eun-chae made her debut in the 2010 film Haunters and went on to appear in the films The King and The Table, as well as the dramas Dr. Frost and The Guest and the Netflix series Anna. Most recently, she played the role of gukgeuk troupe star Moon Ok-gyeong in the tvN drama Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born, and she has continued her acting career through projects including Honor: Their Court.
