Seo-ryeong Yoon makes 'Jinttobaeji' soar in 191-point duet

Singer Seo-ryeong Yoon demonstrated her presence during the second round duet mission of SBS Love FM's 'Life is an Audition'.

On the stage broadcast on the 28th, Seo-ryeong Yoon teamed up with Ko Dae-han to perform 'Jinttobaeji'. The duo received 191 points from the judges.

In this mission, Seo-ryeong Yoon, a traditional Korean music major, teamed up with Ko Dae-han, a classical vocal major. Before taking the stage, Seo-ryeong Yoon expressed confidence, stating, "We practiced while having many conversations and being considerate of each other. We will be able to show chemistry like real siblings."

The two decorated the stage by harmonizing Seo-ryeong Yoon's clear tone with Ko Dae-han's powerful vocals. Even in the narrow space of the radio studio, Seo-ryeong Yoon showed she was enjoying the stage, such as handing the microphone to the judges.

Judge Sergio evaluated the performance, saying, "This is a new birth of 'Jinttobaeji.' This synergy was created when strength met excitement. I cannot believe this is a stage they prepared in just one week." Insooni also remarked, "I liked how they didn't let the space overwhelm them. It felt like they practiced so much that they made this song their own."

Seo-ryeong Yoon, who recorded 196 points in Round 1, sees the highest score change

While Seo-ryeong Yoon rose to the highest score of the second round with 191 points, the record was overtaken by Ji Young-il and Park Min-soo, who performed immediately after and received 194 points. In the previous first round, Seo-ryeong Yoon had recorded 196 points along with evaluations from Enoch and Kim Hye Yeon that she was a "strong championship candidate" and "the contestant who enjoyed the stage the most."

'Life is an Audition,' which searches for the next-generation trot star, will continue until August 28th with a total prize pool of 100 million won.
