Rapper Girlfriend Wanted picks three muses from 3,000 hopefuls

Rappers who once showcased intense rapping on stage are now stepping up to win at love. Mnet Plus original variety show 'Rapper Girlfriend Wanted: KISS or DISS' (hereafter 'Rapper Girlfriend Wanted') has confirmed its premiere for August 7. The production team behind the popular 'Show Me the Money 12' from the first half of this year is once again in charge of production.

3 Muses who beat 1000-to-1 competition

The process of finding the female cast members, the so-called 'muses' who will capture the hearts of the rappers, was fierce. During the recruitment period held for about a week starting June 24, as many as 3,000 applicants flocked to apply. In the process of selecting the three final muses, the program proved its popularity by recording a competition rate of approximately 1000-to-1. The identities of the three muses, which are still shrouded in mystery, are scheduled to be revealed through the first broadcast.

5 Rappers including Royal 44 and Double Down set to appear

The cast lineup features rappers who made names for themselves through 'Show Me the Money 12'. Led by Royal 44, who drew attention with confident remarks, Jung Jun-hyuk, Noh Yun-ha, Double Down, and Vice Versa will appear for the first date.

The program is composed of a total of 6 episodes, with two episodes of dating assigned per selected muse. It plans to capture the dating values and human sides shown by the rappers.

First release Friday, August 7 at 9 p.m.

Viewers can check out their meetings through various platforms. The first episode will be released for the first time on Mnet Plus on Friday, August 7 at 9 p.m. After that, new episodes will be updated on Mnet Plus every Monday. On the TV channel Mnet, two episodes will be broadcast consecutively every Thursday at 10 p.m.
