Lee Hyun-yi says rustling noise is no excuse before the CSAT
Lee Hyun-yi shares her firm education views on YouTube, revealing her sons’ vacation camps and how she teaches focus at home.
"If you're sensitive to even rustling sounds, how will you handle the CSAT?"

Model Lee Hyun-yi shared her firm values regarding child education. In a video released on the YouTube channel 'Working Mom Lee Hyun-yi' on the 18th, Lee shared the vacation schedules of her two sons, who attend a private elementary school, emphasizing the importance of an attitude of self-concentration rather than blaming one's environment.
When asked about her home layout, where the living room is set up as a study, Lee, an alumna of Ewha Womans University, was firm. "I don't believe you can only study when everything is perfectly set up and quiet," she said. "This much is just ambient noise. If you react sensitively to even a rustling sound, how are you going to handle something like the CSAT?" She added, reflecting on her own attitude toward studying that she has proven through her own life, "Saying you couldn't do it because you were distracted, noisy, or it was too loud—those are all excuses. You can do it all."
The eldest heading to a US university camp and Young-seo's English camp vacation
The specific vacation plans for her children were also revealed. Her eldest son, Yun-seo, passed the exam for CTY (Center for Talented Youth), a US university program, and is scheduled to live in a US university dormitory for about a month. Yun-seo's self-directed nature drew attention, as he passed the exam on his own.
The schedule for the second son, Young-seo, is different from his brother's. Young-seo will participate in a camp run by an English academy. Watching Young-seo follow a schedule of arriving at 8:20 AM and leaving at 3:30 PM, Lee expressed her satisfaction, saying, "It's truly wonderful."
The reality of parenting for a working mom worried about her eldest's absence
She also opened up about her concerns regarding the void left by her eldest son leaving for the US for a month. Lee said, "The biggest concern during this vacation is whether I can fill the void left by his brother for Young-seo."
Mentioning the realistic sibling relationship where Young-seo, who especially loves his brother, fought with him the night before he left, she expressed her intention to try so that Young-seo can make happy memories as if he were an only child.
Lee Hyun-yi, a working mom raising two sons alongside her husband Hong Seong-gi, a semiconductor development engineer at Samsung Electronics, did not forget to offer encouragement to parents at the end of the video. Mentioning the reality of parenting, having to be with children all day during the vacation, she recommended exercising with the children as a way to get through the break.
