A Mudang's Sharp Reading: "A Body Prone to Possession"

Lee Chang-sub, a member of the group BTOB, could not hide his bewilderment after hearing his fortune and spiritual reading from a mudang.

Lee Changsub Shocked by Spiritual Reading on YouTube Channel 'Lee Changsub & Jeo Changsub'

In a video uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Lee Chang-sub & Jeo Chang-sub' on the 17th, Lee Chang-sub personally visited a shrine to receive a spiritual reading. During the session, the mudang pinpointed Lee Chang-sub's inner state, saying, "You can smile in front of others, but you are lonely when you are alone." She added, "You did well to gain fame and become a singer. Because you receive the spotlight, you at least avoid depression."

Lee Chang-sub Surprised by Mention of Sunjae Sunim and Ancestral Blessings

The mudang's reading continued. Stating, "It is a situation where ancestors enter first," the mudang diagnosed Lee Chang-sub as having "a body prone to being possessed by Gwisin." She then mentioned that someone in his family used to pray to a deity and asked about a figure without a head.

At this, Lee Chang-sub thought of Sunjae Sunim, a temple food expert who gained fame through 'Culinary Class Wars Season 2' and is his mother's cousin. The mudang explained that Sunjae Sunim is praying extensively on his behalf, and Lee Chang-sub is benefiting from that grace.

In an interview following the video filming, Lee Chang-sub revealed that when he received a reading elsewhere in the past, he was also told that his 'ghost gate' was open, and at that time, he was told it was his maternal grandmother entering him. Furthermore, when a question arose regarding his paternal grandfather's marriage, he expressed astonishment by mentioning the real-life situation where he had received a phone call from his paternal grandmother just the day before asking when he would get married.

"Let's Marry Late": Advice on Relationships

Specific readings regarding dating and marriage followed. The mudang mentioned that Lee Chang-sub's thread of fate is not long, advising, "Your destined partner must be well past 30. You must pass 44. Let's marry a bit late."

While flustered by the various stories related to his fortune, Lee Chang-sub expressed surprise at how the contents of the spiritual reading aligned with his actual life.
