MBN's 'Legendary Man' is establishing a strong presence in the Wednesday variety market with rising viewership. According to Nielsen Korea's nationwide paid television households, the second episode aired on the 22nd recorded an average viewership rating of 5.1% and a peak rating of 5.4%. This marks a 1.0 percentage point increase from the first broadcast (4.1%), making it the highest-rated program among Wednesday night shows across terrestrial, general programming, and cable channels.
In this episode, a floor-by-floor hierarchy war took place between the 'Unknown Legends' TOP7 (Sungri, Harua, Jang Han-byeol, Hwang Yunsung, Jung Yeon-ho, Lee Changmin, and Irune) and the 'Active Raiders' team (Park Hyun-bin, Sin Seong-ho, Kang Moon-kyung, Shin Seung-tae, Han Jae-ha, Min Su-hyeon, and Cho Myung-seop).

The 'Active Raiders' team showed outstanding performance in the battles, which were conducted by moving up and down the various floors of the Mission Tower. In the 1st floor 'Maknae Battle,' Cho Myung-seop defeated Harua, and on the 2nd floor 'Hallyu Battle,' Park Hyun-bin beat Lee Changmin 2 to 1. Sungri secured a dominant 3 to 0 victory against Han Jae-ha.
Shin Seung-tae sang Ryu Gye-young's 'Life' to defeat Jang Han-byeol 2 to 1, winning a stay at a 5-star suite in Sokcho. Following this, on the 3rd floor 'Family Battle,' Sin Seong-ho beat Jung Yeon-ho 2 to 1, and Hwang Yunsung defeated Min Su-hyeon 3 to 0. On the 4th floor 'Hyung Battle,' Shin Seung-tae beat Lee Changmin 3 to 0, and Park Hyun-bin beat Irune 3 to 0, maintaining the momentum for the 'Active Raiders' team.
Kang Moon-kyung Seals Final Showdown with Na Hoon-A's 'Rainy Day'
In the '1st Place Battle' on the top floor to decide the final winner, Sungri and Kang Moon-kyung faced off. Sungri sang Kim Sang-bae's 'Sambaekcho,' but Kang Moon-kyung, who chose Na Hoon-A's 'Rainy Day,' won 2 to 1. With Kang Moon-kyung's victory, the 'Active Raiders' team claimed the final win.
The defeated TOP7 joked, saying, "You can't beat a god originally." MBN's 'Legendary Man' airs every Wednesday at 9:40 PM.
