DAY6's Young K is returning with his second solo studio album, 'YOUNGEST', approximately 2 years and 10 months after his previous solo work. This new release is scheduled to be unveiled through major music platforms worldwide on July 27 at 6 PM. This marks his second studio project following the release of his first solo studio album, 'Letters with notes', in September 2023.
Two concept films released, creating a mysterious atmosphere
Two concept films released ahead of the comeback capture the mood of the album. In the first video, 'THE YOUNGEST SHOW', Young K conducts an interview amidst a bizarre atmosphere, featuring mysterious elements such as repeating doors and ropes. The second video, released subsequently, showcases a contrasting mood for Young K and leaves the message "NOT GONNA LET ANYONE HURT ME ANYMORE" at the end of the clip.
Expanding solo activities since 2015 debut
Since debuting with DAY6 in September 2015, Young K has participated in writing and composing numerous tracks, including 'Congratulations', 'You Were Beautiful', and 'Time of Our Life', as a core member of the group. Beyond group activities, he has expanded his reach through appearances on variety shows, singing drama OSTs, and running his own YouTube channel. First announced via DAY6's official SNS on the 6th, this new album will be officially released on the 27th at 6 PM.
