Yeonjun, Jaehyun and VAYONN charge into July’s K-pop rush
TXT’s Yeonjun, NCT’s Jaehyun, VAYONN and I-dle lead the second-week July K-pop lineup with solo releases, debuts and comebacks.
The K-POP market in the second week of July is buzzing with the musical evolution of solo artists and the arrival of rookie groups. As TXT's Yeonjun and NCT's Jaehyun kick off their solo activities, attention is also focused on the debut of rookie group VAYONN and the comeback of (G)I-DLE.

Yeonjun and Jaehyun: Musical Variations as Solo Artists
TXT's Yeonjun continues his solo journey with his second mini-album, 'NO LABELS: PART 02'. He directly participated in creating the choreography for the title track 'Ice Cream' and is credited as a lyricist for two B-side tracks.
NCT's Jaehyun released his new digital single '99 Degrees' on July 10. Jaehyun participated in both songwriting and composing in addition to providing the vocals. The ballad carries a message of finding complete love amidst the imperfections of 99 degrees.
VAYONN Debut and (G)I-DLE Comeback
On July 6, VAYONN, the second boy group from Incode Entertainment, released their debut album 'YOUTH TODAY'. Featuring members from Mnet's 'Boys Planet 2', they showcased teen dance-pop through the title track 'MUAH!'.
On the same day, (G)I-DLE made their comeback with their 9th mini-album, 'We made'. The album features a total of five tracks, including the pre-release song 'Crow' and the title track 'Gimme Dat Love'. The title track is a summer song infused with Latin pop vibes.
Consecutive New Releases from Monsta Kihyun, AHOF, and RESCENE
On July 7, Monsta Kihyun released his second mini-album, 'BORDERLINE'. The title track, 'So Good', highlights Kihyun's vocals and guitar sounds.
Following this, on July 8, AHOF presented their third mini-album, 'RUN TO YOU'. Members Cha Woong-gi, Park Han, and Park Ju-won participated in writing the lyrics for the track 'Our Story'. Meanwhile, RESCENE released a remake of Kara's 'Pretty Girl' on the same day.
