Ji-yu takes the stage at Busan One Asia Festival for the second consecutive year

Ji-yu of the group Solji Kids stepped into the spotlight as the protagonist of a large-scale festival held in her hometown, Busan. Ji-yu led the atmosphere on-site by taking charge of the opening remarks for '2026 Busan One Asia Festival with NOL.' At this festival, which marks its 10th anniversary this year, Ji-yu continued her connection by appearing on stage for the second year in a row.

Originally from Suyeong-gu, Busan, Ji-yu expressed her affection for her hometown while conducting the opening reading. Describing herself as having become "at least a budding talent," Ji-yu shared her feelings about standing on Busan's representative cultural content stage for two consecutive years. She also revealed her nervousness, worrying that her Busan dialect might slip out before the hosting began. Ji-yu prepared for the hosting by working with Hyeong-jun to coordinate their use of the dialect.

Solji Kids' waiting room scene and stage plans

In the Solji Kids waiting room ahead of the performance, various snacks including mochi, manju, and macarons sent by Ji-yu's family were prepared. Ji-yu's mother, grandmother, aunt, and cousin visited the site to offer their support.

While Ji-yu chose bibimbap, stating that "Korean cuisine is the best," member Haum showed a contrasting side by ordering Greek yogurt. Ji-yu also revealed her plan to eat kkwabaegi after the stage ends.

Meanwhile, Solji Kids will perform a total of 6 songs, including 'UNDERDOGS,' during this stage. A challenge filming with TREASURE is also scheduled.
