'girlsnboys' Visualizer Released on the 6th

While the music video for the title track 'singasong' emphasized the members' surging energy against a vast desert backdrop, this 'girlsnboys' visualizer opted for a monotone, minimal production. In the video, V8 reveals an unquenchable momentum through a convertible car, showing an energy that is more relaxed and refined than before.

The chorus choreography, which drew significant attention after being surprise-revealed at the pre-listening party on June 28, is also a key element of the video. The simple movements of moving arms to the rhythm reflect the natural and sophisticated groove unique to THE 8 and Vernon.

Collaboration with Pharrell Williams, Mechatok, and KIRARA

V8's music features collaborations with 14-time Grammy winner pop star Pharrell Williams, Mechatok, who has been active in the European house music scene, and electronic musician KIRARA, a winner of the Korean Music Awards. Through this combination, V8 attempted alternative music and indie EDM colors within K-pop.

Jeonghan and Joshua New Unit, Joining in October

As SEVENTEEN navigates through their 'military hiatus' due to members' military service, they are consecutively presenting duo units with different combinations. S.Coups and Mingyu deepened their hip-hop colors, while DK and Seungkwan delivered ballads as the main vocal line. Hoshi and Woozi showcased their performance identity with powerful choreography and direction.

A source viewed SEVENTEEN's duo units as playing a role that goes beyond simply filling the void, bringing genres that were difficult to fully capture in group activities into the group. Pledis Entertainment officially announced on July 6 that a new unit is being prepared for Jeonghan and Joshua, who recently completed their military service, and Jeonghan will join as part of a new duo unit starting in October.

V8 will hold a performance at KINTEX Exhibition Center 1, Hall 1 in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do on July 11–12.
