Jeong Se-min sees Kim Min-jae's dance power behind the visuals
Jeong Se-min recalls trainee days with Kim Min-jae, praising his ImPerfect stage presence and a reassuring Chewing Gum smile.
Group member Jeong Se-min shared his honest feelings upon witnessing Kim Min-jae's skills. Jeong Se-min stated that when he first encountered Kim Min-jae, he only thought of him as a handsome 'visual member' with large eyes, but he was freshly shocked by the detailed choreography expression shown on stage.

In particular, Jeong Se-min highly praised Kim Min-jae's presence while mentioning the 'ImPerfect' stage. He added that for Jeong Se-min, who was struggling to master the choreography at the time, Kim Min-jae's overwhelming presence on stage became a milestone he wanted to emulate.
"First time seeing such movement" Kim Min-jae's choreographic expression that surprised Jeong Se-min
The connection between the two dates back to their trainee days. At that time, because Jeong Se-min had to balance middle school studies and travel between Gokseong and Seoul, he could only visit the practice room three days a week (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday). Kim Min-jae revealed that he had naturally become aware of Jeong Se-min by quietly watching him stand out in the practice room.
Jeong Se-min recalled Kim Min-jae as a 'model student' who approached practice with a proper attitude. Having grown together while sharing their concerns, the two have now formed a bond deep enough to call each other 'soulmates.'
From 'Thu-Fri-Sat' trainees to soulmates
The warm consideration shared on stage also became a medium that connects the two. Jeong Se-min said he cannot forget the smile Kim Min-jae gave him when he was nervous during the 'Chewing Gum' stage.
Even though the two were not that close at the time, Kim Min-jae made eye contact and sent encouragement so that Jeong Se-min could finish the stage with a smile. That brief eye contact on stage melted the member's tension and became the link that connects their relationship.
