BTS Jin Named June Best Artist After 59 Weeks at No. 1 on Idolpick

BTS Jin took 1st place in the male idol category in the 5th week of June's weekly voting for the idol voting service Idolpick. Jin recorded 1st place for 59 consecutive weeks in the category with 53,778 picks, and was selected as the June Best Artist after also taking 1st place for 5 consecutive weeks in the integrated voting across all categories.

In the monthly cumulative voting tallied from June 1 to July 5, Jin also took 1st place in the male idol category with 254,510 picks. Jin is currently balancing solo activities with his world tour schedule. Starting with the Chiba performance in Japan on July 5, he will conduct the BTS World Tour ARIRANG across a total of 9 cities, including Osaka, the US, and the UK, through 18 performances.

PLAVE Maintains 1st Place for Male Groups for 27 Consecutive Weeks

In the male group category, virtual idol PLAVE maintained 1st place for 27 consecutive weeks with 14,249 picks. PLAVE achieved 1.25 million copies in first-week sales with their 4th mini-album 'KaliGO Part 2' released last April.

PLAVE is preparing for their first world tour 'Keep It Manic,' which will start in Incheon this September and continue through Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, and Macau. In the June monthly cumulative results, they also took 1st place in the male group category with 64,872 picks. 2nd place in the male group category was BTS (42,759 picks), and 3rd place was GOT7 (8,011 picks).

BBGIRLS to Release New Song 'BODY WAVE' on the 16th

In the female group category, BBGIRLS recorded 1st place for 40 consecutive weeks with 1,218 picks. BBGIRLS will release their new song 'BODY WAVE' on the 16th. This new song is being released approximately 1 year and 2 months after the remake song 'Wish' presented last May.

In the June monthly cumulative tally, BBGIRLS took 1st place in the female group category with 6,194 picks.

Lee Chae-yeon Takes 1st Place for Female Idols for 124 Consecutive Weeks

In the female idol category, Lee Chae-yeon continued her 124-week streak at 1st place by receiving 2,637 picks. After finishing activities for the album '’Till I Die' last April, Lee Chae-yeon has been continuing her activities, such as appearing in YouTube content and performing at university festivals.

Lee Chae-yeon was also 1st in the June monthly cumulative female idol category. Lee Chae-yeon recorded 14,995 picks, followed by LE SSERAFIM's Sakura (7,818 picks) in 2nd place, and BABYMONSTER's Asa (6,436 picks) in 3rd place. In the male idol monthly cumulative category, 2nd place was Kang Daniel (120,564 picks) and 3rd place was Kim Jae-hwan (23,674 picks).

CapEath Takes Weekly 1st Place in International Category

The international category saw the Philippine actor duo CapEath (Caprice Cayetano & Heath Jornales) rise to 1st place in the weekly rankings with 13,891 picks. They appeared in the Philippine program 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0' and are currently working together in the romance drama 'You’re My Favorite Song'.

In the June monthly cumulative, CapEath recorded 1st place with 48,020 picks. CapFord (45,921 picks) and Heath Jornales (43,641 picks) took 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.

Billboard Display to be Broadcast from Namdaemun-ro Starting July 16

A total of 5 teams, including Jin, were selected for the 183rd Idolpick billboard support. BTS Jin had the highest number of votes with 104,764 picks. Kang Daniel (52,812 picks), CapEath (42,522 picks), Heath Jornales (39,082 picks), and CapFord (30,989 picks) also made the list.

The promotional videos for the selected artists will be broadcast through the giant billboard opposite LOTTE AVENUEL in Namdaemun-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul, from July 16 to July 18.
