Romi races to sea in Heartsping: Legend of the Whale Jewel
SAMG Entertainment’s fantasy animation follows Romi and Heartsping on an ocean rescue mission, opening nationwide on August 5.
An Ocean Adventure to Find the Missing Mom, Bellita
The fantasy animation 'Heartsping: Legend of the Whale Jewel' is set to hit theaters nationwide on August 5. This film follows the perilous journey of Romi and Heartsping as they head to the sea to rescue Mom Bellita, who has disappeared into the ocean. The film is produced by SAMG Entertainment, distributed by BY4M Studio, and directed by Kim Su-hoon.
Recently released press stills, featuring 12 different shots, capture the film's expansive worldview. These include scenes of Mom Bellita reading a book to a young Romi under a pink flowering tree, Romi spreading her arms under a star-filled sky, and moments of watching fish through a window. In particular, the tension rises with shots of the protagonist Romi facing off against the massive entity, Leviath.
New Characters Including Kite and Soraping Join the Cast
In addition to the existing cast, several new characters join the adventure in this film. New Teeniepings such as Soraping, Chulrangping, and Bangulping appear, along with Kite, a sea boy aboard a submersible. The film also depicts a legendary pirate crew and Teeniepings wearing pirate hats.
Set against the backdrop of the ocean, this adventure showcases a larger scale than the previous installment. Along with spectacular underwater scenery, the massive Leviath appears, unfolding new crises that Romi and Heartsping must confront. 'Heartsping: Legend of the Whale Jewel' opens in theaters nationwide on August 5.
