Actor Jung Seung-kil returns as Choi Young-jae, an ordinary neighbor, through the new JTBC weekend drama 'APT'. Set to premiere on the 11th at 10:40 PM, he takes on the role of the manager overseeing 'True Value State,' a massive residential complex consisting of 9,800 households.

While Choi Young-jae is a figure who coordinates various issues within the complex and manages overall administration and household affairs, behind the scenes lies the exhaustion of a 'wild goose father' who must send monthly living expenses to his wife and three daughters studying abroad. Jung Seung-jae is set to portray the image of an ordinary citizen struggling between the demands of the powerful and the complaints of residents while carrying a heavy economic burden, using his signature seasoned acting.

The drama 'APT' is a human drama that follows the process of former boss Park Hae-gang (played by Jisung), who runs for the resident representative council president election to seize funds within the apartment, as he works with residents to uncover corruption. Writer Kim Yun-young of 'My Strange Hero' and director Jo Yong-won, who directed 'Missing Child,' have joined forces for this project.

The cast features a lineup of actors with solid acting skills, led by Jisung and including Ha Yoon-kyung, Moon So-ri, and Park Byeong-eun, to heighten the immersion of the series. This work follows 'Reborn Rookie' to reach living rooms.

An acting journey spanning from 'Mr. Sunshine' to the play 'The Lives of Others'

Jung Seung-kil has steadily demonstrated his presence through various works such as 'Mr. Sunshine,' 'Be Melodramatic,' 'Agency,' 'Our Unwritten Seoul,' and 'Cashero.' Recently, he delivered an impressive performance in SBS's 'Phantom Lawyer' as Matthew, a priest from a shaman background, and also appeared in the film 'Dream.'

His activities are not limited to the screen, as he continues to perform on stage. He is currently meeting audiences in the play 'The Lives of Others,' playing the role of playwright Georg Dramann.
