Girl band QWER (Chodan, Magenta, Hina, Siyeon) has officially debuted in the Japanese market through the opening theme for the Japanese animation 'Tomb Raider King.' At midnight on the 8th, QWER released 'SHOW DOWN' across various music streaming platforms.
Release of 'SHOW DOWN,' the Opening Theme for the Anime 'Tomb Raider King'
This debut single, 'SHOW DOWN,' marks QWER's first participation in an anime OST. The track delivers a message of moving forward without yielding to the gaze of others in a superficial world, featuring a more intense and powerful sound than their previous works.
The accompanying music video was produced using the original protagonist as a motif. It utilizes fast-paced directing and storytelling to express the members' energy as they push forward amidst a red threat.
Accelerating Local Activities with Warner Music Japan
QWER's expansion into Japan was facilitated by securing a systematic support system through an exclusive contract with the major Japanese record label, Warner Music Japan.
This move was part of a previously foreshadowed trajectory. Prior to the official music release, QWER pre-released 'SHOW DOWN' during their world tour, '2025 QWER 1ST WORLD TOUR 'ROCKATION''. At that time, enthusiastic sing-alongs from local fans and continuous requests for a digital release served as a springboard for this debut.
