KYUHYUN Concludes Asia Fan-meeting Tour with Shanghai Finale After 3-Minute Sell-out in Seoul

Singer KYUHYUN has completed his Asia fan-meeting tour celebrating his 20th anniversary since debut. The schedule, which began in Seoul last June, passed through Tokyo and Taipei before concluding with a performance in Shanghai, China, on the 5th.

This tour was conducted as the ‘KYUHYUN 20th Anniversary Fanmeeting’. The concept name confirmed from the original source is ‘Hotel 203’. KYUHYUN met fans at close range in four cities, looking back on his activities over the past 20 years.

Seoul sold out in 3 minutes, Taipei sold out including additional performance

The response appeared rapidly starting from the first city, Seoul. The Seoul performance sold out all seats just 3 minutes after ticket reservations opened.

Demand continued for the Taipei performance as well. The performance, originally planned for one session, was added once, and the additional 2nd session also recorded a sell-out.

KYUHYUN meets fans as the General Manager of ‘Hotel 203’

The fan-meeting was decorated with a hotel motif. KYUHYUN welcomed fans in the role of a hotel General Manager, and a different Assistant Manager (MC) appeared in each city. In the Seoul and Shanghai performances, Super Junior member Eunhyuk appeared as the Assistant Manager to work alongside KYUHYUN.

The performance segments were also organized according to the hotel's spatial composition. In the ‘Wellness Center’, he conducted dance challenges with fans, and in the ‘Mind Laundry’, he had time to listen to and counsel fans' concerns. In the ‘Room Service’ segment, they took group photos. ‘Voice of the Customer Q&A’ and ‘Hotel History Briefing’ were also included in the fan-meeting program.

Local songs in Tokyo and Taipei, Eunhyuk duet in Seoul and Shanghai

KYUHYUN also prepared different special stages for each city. In the Tokyo performance, he sang the Japanese solo song ‘Beautiful’ and Sukima Switch's ‘Kanade (奏)’. In Taipei, he presented ‘至少還有你(Zhìshǎo hái yǒu nǐ)’ and ‘那些年(Nàxiē nián)’.

In Seoul and Shanghai, he sang ‘You & I’ as a duet with Eunhyuk. A 20th-anniversary commemorative medley followed, including Super Junior's ‘U’ and ‘Sorry Sorry’, as well as ‘At Gwanghwamun’, ‘It's Not Like That’, and ‘Like the First Snow’. He also performed ballad stages such as ‘Mind Laundry’, ‘7 Years of Love’, and ‘That's a Good Thing’.

KYUHYUN, who debuted in 2005, has balanced idol activities, solo singer activities, variety shows, and musical stages. Having finished the 4-city schedule with the Shanghai performance, he plans to continue his activities in various fields including future album releases, variety programs, and musical stages.
