Super Junior's KYUHYUN will serve as the host for a new variety program dealing with antisocial personalities hiding among us.

Kyuhyun Attends Press Conference for MBN·SBS Plus Thriller Talk Show 'The Psychopath I Met'

At the online production briefing for MBN and SBS Plus's 'The Psychopaths I Met' held on the morning of the 10th, PD Joo Hee-jin, Jun Hyun-moo, KYUHYUN, Nucksal, and Hur Young-ji attended.

During the event, KYUHYUN opened up about his personal encounters with individuals similar to the subjects of the program. He confessed that he had many moments with people around him—ranging from managers and office heads to CEOs, PDs, and reporters—where he felt, "This person is a bit eccentric." He explained that at the time, he tried to brush it off, thinking it was simply a matter of individual personality.

However, after encountering cases constructed from actual reports, KYUHYUN expressed his shock, stating, "I thought there was no way this could be reality." This implies that the gap between reality and the antisocial personalities he encountered was so vast that the people he previously considered eccentric actually felt ordinary by comparison.

"Choi Si-won is the king of reactions, while Shindong is a machine-like analyst"

KYUHYUN lightened the mood by mentioning the usual personalities and viewing styles of his Super Junior teammates.

When asked about the program's atmosphere, KYUHYUN was the first to think of Choi Si-won. He predicted intense reactions from him, saying, "I think Choi Si-won's expressions will be huge."

In contrast, he offered a completely different assessment of Shindong. "He is a truly rational person. At certain moments, he is like a machine," KYUHYUN said, predicting that Shindong would analyze situations coolly rather than showing emotional agitation while watching the program.

Positioning itself as a true-crime thriller talk show, 'The Psychopaths I Met' covers real-life stories of individuals hiding among us, such as psychopaths, sociopaths, and narcissists. The program premieres on the 12th at 10 PM.
