BTS rides ARIRANG's 16-week Spotify streak into Europe's charts
BTS's fifth album ARIRANG ranks No. 2 on Spotify Global for July 3-9 while UK, German and Australian charts show new gains.
Maintains Top 5 on Spotify for 16 Consecutive Weeks... Most No. 1s This Year
BTS's 5th studio album 'ARIRANG' continues its long-term success on global music charts. According to the latest Spotify data (July 3 – July 9), 'ARIRANG' ranked 2nd on the 'Weekly Top Albums Global' chart. Since their return as a full group on March 20, the album has maintained its position in the upper ranks of the charts for four months.

On this chart, BTS has alternated between 1st and 2nd place for 16 weeks. During this period, they reached the top spot a total of 9 times, making them the group with the most No. 1 rankings on this chart this year.
The title track 'SWIM' held onto 6th place on the 'Weekly Top Songs Global' chart, following its position last week. B-side tracks 'Body to Body', '2.0', and 'Hooligan' also remained in the rankings for 16 consecutive weeks. The new song 'Come Over', released on the 12th of last month, has also remained on the charts for a month.
Rising Rankings on UK, German, and Australian Charts
Indicators in the European and Oceanian markets are also on the rise. On the UK Official Charts (compiled July 10 – July 16), 'ARIRANG' ranked 21st on the 'Official Albums Top 100', jumping 16 places from the previous week. Looking at detailed indicators, it climbed 20 places to reach 25th on the 'Official Albums Streaming' chart, while 'Official Vinyl Albums' surged 21 places to settle at 15th.
'Official Album Sales' and 'Official Physical Albums' both rebounded by 10 places each to reach 10th. On the 'Official Scottish Albums' chart, a regional chart for Scotland, it showed 14th place, following last week.
On the German official music charts (Offizielle Deutsche Charts) 'Top 100 Albums' (as of July 10), 'ARIRANG' rose to 9th, achieving its 16th consecutive week in the 'Top 10'. The title track 'SWIM' climbed 11 places to reach 88th on the German 'Top 100 Singles' chart. In Australia's ARIA 'Top 50 Albums' (compiled July 13), it recorded 12th place, and 15th on the 'Top 20 Vinyl Albums'.
First Full Group Activity in 3 Years and 9 Months and Future Schedule
BTS began their full group activities for the first time in 3 years and 9 months with the release of their 5th studio album 'ARIRANG' on March 20. This album contains a total of 14 tracks, including the title track 'SWIM'.
BTS is set to perform at the halftime show for the '2026 FIFA World Cup' final held at the New York New Jersey Stadium in the US on the 19th (local time). Madonna, Shakira, and Justin Bieber are also scheduled to appear on the same stage.
