Singer and actress Uhm Jung-hwa has released photos of a family trip celebrating her mother's belated birthday. With the release of her starring film 'Okay Madam 2' approaching on August 12, she shared both her personal life and news regarding the project.

'Okay Madam 2' to be released on August 12

Uhm Jung-hwa will meet audiences on August 12 with the film 'Okay Madam 2'. As a sequel to the predecessor 'Okay Madam' released in 2020, this work moves the setting from an airplane to a luxury cruise. It tells the story of the family of Mi-young (played by Uhm Jung-hwa), a former secret agent who embarks on a cruise trip dreaming of escaping daily life, only to get caught up in a cruise hijacking incident.

The launch poster and trailer capture the characters against the backdrop of the vast ocean. The trailer depicts the process of the family, who previously carried out a high-altitude rescue operation, receiving a mysterious invitation to a cruise ship and getting embroiled in unpredictable events.

This sequel features the main cast from the previous film along with new actors. Uhm Jung-hwa holds the center, while Park Sung-woong, playing the husband Seok-hwan, showcases humorous charm. Lee Sang-yoon, a lead from the previous film, appears as Cheol-seung, and Ryeoun as the cruise magician Ji-hoon and Choi Soo-young as the criminal organization leader Anya join to heighten the tension of the drama.
