From 'Second Husband' to 'The Brave Yong Su Jeong'... An award-winning career

Uhm Hyun-kyung, who debuted in the 2005 MBC sitcom 'Rainbow Romance', has solidified her position through steady acting activities. Starting with her role as Na Yeon-hee in the SBS drama 'Defendant', she has portrayed various characters in works such as MBC's 'Hide and Seek' and tvN's 'Miss Lee'.

Her performances in daily dramas and melodramas are particularly notable. Following her role as Han Yu-jeong in KBS 2TV's 'Secret Man', she demonstrated her presence as a lead actress playing Bong Seon-hwa (Bong Bit-na) in MBC's 'Second Husband'. This dedication led to multiple awards, including the Best Supporting Actress award at the 2015 KBS Drama Awards (for 'House of Bluebirds' and 'All is Well'), and the Best Actress award at the 2021 MBC Drama Awards for 'Second Husband'.
