The donation will be used entirely for relief supplies and heatwave response activities for vulnerable groups, such as the elderly and people with disabilities, who are exposed to extreme heat. Moon Ga-young stated that she has considered meaningful ways to give back every year on her birthday, and expressed her hope that this donation will help her neighbors spend a safe and healthy summer.

Moon Ga-young has consistently donated funds to help neighbors recover their daily lives following disasters such as floods or fires. In recognition of these activities, she is also an active member of the 'Hope Bridge Honors Club,' a group for high-value donors. The Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association stated they will ensure Moon Ga-young's donation is delivered quickly to neighbors exhausted by the heat.

Showcasing a style that paired a red sleeveless top with a white cardigan featuring rose embroidery and denim pants, Moon Ga-young revealed it was her birthday by wearing a badge on her chest that read "Today's Protagonist." The photos captured people enjoying a meal and celebrating with a cake.

Currently, Moon Ga-young has confirmed her casting as the protagonist Heo Su-a in the drama 'Whale Star,' which is scheduled to air in 2027. Additionally, she signed an exclusive contract with Fantagio on the 3rd, continuing her career with her new agency.
