Kang So-ra Returns to Sajik Mound After 14 Years to Throw First Pitch in Red Lotte Uniform

Actress Kang So-ra (35) stood on the mound at Busan Sajik Baseball Stadium as the ceremonial first pitcher for the Lotte Giants. The Lotte Giants invited Kang So-ra as the first pitcher for their home game against the LG Twins held at Busan Sajik Baseball Stadium on the 28th.

Kang So-ra is a long-time fan of the Lotte Giants, having previously appeared as the ceremonial first pitcher for the home opening game at Sajik Baseball Stadium in 2012. This ceremonial pitch marked her return to the Sajik mound after 14 years.

Before the game, Kang So-ra revealed a photo on her SNS of herself sitting in the stands at Sajik Baseball Stadium wearing a red Lotte uniform. In the post, she directly shared the reason for her visit to the ballpark, writing, “Visiting Sajik for the first time in 14 years to throw the first pitch for the Lotte Giants!”

'Kloud Festival' Game Zone Operated on the 28th

This ceremonial pitch was conducted as part of the 'Kloud Festival' held in conjunction with the Lotte Chilsung Beverage brand 'Kloud'. The Lotte Giants designated the last weekend of June as a Brand Day period, creating a festive atmosphere with Lotte Chilsung Beverage on the 28th, following the 'Match Day' held with Seven Eleven on the 27th.

For the game on the 28th, both outdoor and indoor programs were prepared. In the stadium plaza, game zones where fans could experience Kloud, such as 'Perfect Pitcher', 'Catch the All Malt', and 'Catch the Perfect 5 Degrees', were operated, alongside special cheerleader performances and special fan signing events.
