G-Dragon's foundation and Lotte turn Busan visits into UNESCO giving
JusPeace Foundation and Lotte Department Store sign an MOU to raise UNESCO World Heritage funds, with BEXCO events and limited cards from July 20.
The JusPeace Foundation, a public interest foundation established by G-Dragon, is joining forces with Lotte Department Store to begin initiatives for the protection of UNESCO World Heritage sites.

JusPeace Foundation and Lotte Department Store Cooperate to Raise UNESCO World Heritage Fund
On the 10th, the JusPeace Foundation and Lotte Department Store signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the JusPeace Foundation headquarters in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. This agreement aims to raise funds for the UNESCO World Heritage Fund, with the collected donations to be delivered to UNESCO through the JusPeace Foundation.
Oh Hee-young, representative of the JusPeace Foundation, and Park Sang-woo, head of the marketing division at Lotte Department Store, attended the signing ceremony. The JusPeace Foundation, established by G-Dragon through the donation of his copyrights, has focused on solving social issues and nurturing talent through culture and arts. Through this collaboration, the foundation is expanding its scope of activity into the global realm of protecting world heritage.
Participatory Events Held at BEXCO in Busan, Including Limited Edition Transportation Card Giveaways
The first collaborative project between the two parties will take place at the Republic of Korea pavilion cultural event site for the 48th UNESCO World Heritage Committee, held at BEXCO in Busan from the 20th to the 29th. Lotte Department Store will operate various programs during the event period to allow visitors to experience the value of world heritage.
Special benefits have also been prepared for on-site visitors. Customers who visit the booth installed within the event venue will receive a UNESCO limited edition transportation card featuring world cultural heritage designs. Additionally, a world heritage-related quiz event will be held through the 'Shopping News' corner in the Lotte Department Store application, with K-beauty cosmetics provided as prizes to correct answerers.
Realizing Social Value with Global Tourists
This campaign was designed targeting the recently increasing number of global tourists. As a retail company, Lotte Department Store plans to serve as a channel to help domestic and international customers understand the significance of the UNESCO World Heritage Fund and to promote the importance of preserving cultural heritage.
