Actor Ahn Jae Hyun has revealed his personal hideout where he finds peace amidst his busy daily life. Recently, through his YouTube channel, Ahn Jae Hyun introduced a cafe located in Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul. He stated that the space feels as mysterious as an island and is a cherished place he visits when he wants to feel a Southeast Asian atmosphere.
A Nonhyeon-dong cafe where 120kg elephant tortoise 'K' resides
In the video, the space is home to 'K', a 14-year-old female Aldabra giant tortoise. Weighing approximately 120kg, 'K' is the second-largest tortoise species in the world, and the cafe staff reported that a caretaker stays on-site 24 hours a day to provide care. Ahn Jae Hyun showed himself interacting with the tortoise by feeding it carrots, tomatoes, and eggplants.
A healthy daily life maintained through consistent exercise and diet
Sharing his recent news, Ahn Jae Hyun said he is currently leading a very healthy and satisfying daily life. He revealed that he continues to exercise consistently because of the unpleasant feeling he gets when he does not work out. In particular, he added that he pays attention to his visuals for drama filming, so he feels regretful if he misses even a single day of exercise.
Regarding his diet, he mentioned his experience of drinking various types of tea when he previously suffered from high levels of inflammation in his body. Recently, he has been feeling satisfaction from the changes that come after exercising, and he even named rotisserie chicken and beer as foods he wants to eat. He explained that rather than traveling frequently, he enjoys spending time sitting in a cafe and observing people's fashion.

Ahn Jae Hyun mentioned the TCI test, which identifies temperament and character, expressing his view that temperament is formed from birth while character is developed through social experiences. He said that through this, he can find points to approach a character or solve problems.
He then expressed his wish to try playing a sexy Santa character this Christmas and shared his plan to attend award ceremonies at the end of the year to feel the sense of having spent the year well.
