"I exist because of Infinite Challenge"... Park Myung-soo is firm regarding reunion questions

Entertainer Park Myung-soo revealed his unfiltered thoughts regarding questions about an "Infinite Challenge" Season 2 reunion.

Park Myung-soo Opens Up About Infinite Challenge and Appearance Fees on KBS Cool FM

Appearing as a guest on KBS Cool FM's "Gabi's Super Radio" aired on the 15th, Park Myung-soo encountered talk of "Infinite Challenge" through a listener's question. Park first expressed his affection for the program, which ran for 13 years from 2005 to 2018, stating, "I am grateful that people are still watching Infinite Challenge. I believe I exist because Infinite Challenge exists."

However, he was firm regarding the repeated demands for a Season 2. "Many people ask why we don't do a Season 2, and I hate being asked that all the time. Whether it happens or not, what does it matter?" he replied. He then honestly expressed his fatigue with the question, adding, "There are various personal circumstances for everyone, so it seems unlikely for the time being."

"Salary frozen for 7-8 years"... A joke-filled plea to the manager

Following the Infinite Challenge questions, Park Myung-soo mentioned the issue of his appearance fees for his current radio program.

"I know the broadcasting industry is in bad shape, but my appearance fee has been frozen for 7 to 8 years. The manager needs to step up and resolve this," Park said. He added a joke that turned the studio into a sea of laughter, saying, "Even if you have to cut Gabi's portion, please raise my appearance fee.\" At the time, the program is being hosted by temporary DJ Gabi after the previous host, Haha, stepped down in May due to scheduling issues.

Regarding his appearance fees, Park remarked, "If it were just about the money, I would have done something else. I wouldn't even have to show up for 30 days straight," but he also revealed that he views his radio income as a "salary" rather than just extra income, stating, "I can't say it has nothing to do with money."

"Even if I quit everything, I won't quit radio"

For Park Myung-soo, radio is the foundation of his life and an activity he is deeply attached to. He confessed that he makes his living through his radio appearance fees, and while he saves his other income, he uses his radio earnings to give pocket money to his parents.

"I live off my radio appearance fees. Even if I save other things, I use my radio appearance fees to give my parents pocket money," he explained. He then showed his determination as a radio host, saying, "Even if I quit everything, I will not quit radio."
